3D Cell Culture & Organoids: Bridging Basic Research and Clinical Translation

Date: 19. 09. 2025 (Friday)

Time: 2:30 PM

The landscape of biomedical research is rapidly evolving with the advent of advanced 3D cell culture and organoid technologies. While traditional 2D systems have long been the foundation of experimental biology, they often lack the physiological relevance needed for accurate translational outcomes.

This scientific webinar will showcase how 3D and organoid platforms are closing that gap — enabling deeper insights into human biology, drug discovery, and clinical research.

Speaker: Ms. Vibha Singh
Product Manager – Cell Biology, Krishgen Biosystems

Ms. Vibha Singh is the Product Manager – Cell Biology at Krishgen Biosystems, where she focuses on advancing innovative solutions for cell biology and bioprocessing. She has worked extensively with customized cell culture media for the cultivated meat sector and CHO cell research at HiMedia Laboratories, contributing to process development, scale-up studies, and regulatory compliance with US-FDA and ISO22000 standards.

Previously, as a Research Associate at the Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer (ACTREC), Ms. Singh investigated how extracellular matrix stiffness influences breast cancer cell behavior, with a focus on mitochondrial dynamics and YAP/TAZ signaling pathways. She has worked extensively with diverse cancer cell lines and explored tumor microenvironment dynamics using engineered ECM scaffolds.

Ms. Singh has also contributed to diverse scientific projects such as nano-drug delivery systems for herbal therapeutics, antimicrobial nanoparticles, bio-detergents from soil isolates, and phytochemical extracts for burn treatment. Her work spans both applied research and translational applications, reflecting her commitment to supporting the scientific community with innovative tools and insights.
