Krishgen Biosystems is organizing India’s first BioReimagine EPISKIN Innovation Challenge 2025, focused on promoting ethical, cruelty-free, and next-gen alternatives to animal testing. This national-level challenge is a call to innovators across academia, startups, and industry to explore breakthrough applications using EPISKIN 3D reconstructed human tissue models.
The BioReimagine Challenge will bring together researchers, students, and professionals in pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, dermal science, and drug delivery to design and validate sustainable, human-relevant testing methods.
With dedicated categories in Green Sciences, Regenerative Research, and Alternative Methods, the challenge encourages disruptive thinking aligned with global shifts toward animal-free science. Finalists will be supported with EPISKIN tissue models for Proof of Concept studies, and winners will be announced at the Grand Finale in 27th November 2025 in Bengaluru.

The Grand Finale of the BioReImagine EPISKIN Innovation Challenge 2025 will take place this 27th November in Bengaluru, bringing together innovators, researchers, and industry leaders for an inspiring day of science and collaboration.
In this landmark event, the Top 3 Finalists will present their Proof of Concept (POC) developed using the EPISKIN tissue model, showcasing the innovative solutions they have brought to life. Among these exceptional presentations, one winner will be announced, marking the culmination of months of dedication and breakthrough research.
The presentations will be evaluated by an expert jury panel, featuring the EPISKIN team from France and Brazil, alongside leading Indian experts in tissue engineering. Their combined expertise will ensure a rigorous and insightful assessment of each innovation.
Beyond the competition, the Grand Finale will be a vibrant networking platform, complete with a networking , allowing industry members from across India to connect with students, researchers, and professionals working on alternative, cruelty-free testing methods using EPISKIN models. It promises to be an eventful morning filled with knowledge-sharing, meaningful conversations, and opportunities for collaboration.
