Although high-throughput analysis of the expression of numerous disease-related genes has been made possible by the sequencing of the human genome, these efforts have not been able to fully capture the important characteristics of the numerous diseases that arise from aberrant protein expression, post-translational modification, or interaction with other biomolecules. As a result, genomics methods by themselves are unable to fully explain the molecular causes of disease. Ultimately, creating a comprehensive picture of disease states and creating the prognostics, diagnoses, and treatments required to maintain health also require effective, high-throughput protein analysis.
Unfortunately when we started working in our labs, many at times we saw that the recombinant proteins and antibodies were not aligned to our expectations.
This made us relook at the reagents and KinesisDX was born in order to offer validated functional proteins and antibodies that work.
